Fenix Limerestoration is the range of products made using FENIX certified natural hydraulic lime: certified and durable materials, and, above all, products that are compatible with all types of historic masonry, from physical, chemical and chromatic points of view.

The name FENIX is based on the legendary phoenix, an ancient symbol of regeneration, and an animal with extraordinary qualities of longevity and beauty. The name FENIX was also chosen to recall the Greek term "phoinix", meaning "from Phoenicia". The Phoenicians were the first people in history to use hydraulic lime as a binder in building materials.

FENIX, manufactured by Tassullo right from 1909 using modern technology while complying with all the procedures and techniques descending from ancient tradition, is the certified natural hydraulic lime used as the basic material for all products in the Fenix Limerestoration range.

The characteristics of natural hydraulic lime enable the formulation of mixes and mortars for consolidation, plasters and finishing products for additions and protection, dehumidifying and water-repellent mortars and plasters, and decorative skim-coat plaster and finish. All guaranteed products with high performance.

The distinctive feature for all products in the range is their purity of composition (total absence of cement) and a very low proportion of slaked lime, which ensures that no salts are present. This also guarantees compatibility with the existing masonry, high vapour permeability, high workability, and extended duration over time.
